VICTORIA DOCK, DUNDEE

119 modern waterfront homes are being developed by Cullross for Hillcrest Housing Association at Dundee's Victoria Dock. The apartments consist of two blocks along with associated amenity space, with the first block comprising 53 apartments for social rent and the second block consisting of 66 apartments for mid-market rent.

 

The project uses a unique construction method - the modules, constructed by Enevate Homes, are built and fully fitted out in a factory before being transported to the site. The pods are then elevated and secured in place to form the two housing blocks. This method of construction reduces construction waste and time spent on site considerably and accordingly is more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

 

The apartments will consist of one and two bedrooms with balconies providing exceptional views of the city of the river. The project will provide high-quality affordable homes to Dundee, going a long way to address the need for affordable housing in the city.
